I think I've used that title before, but I not feeling creative today so there you have it!
~Basketball season is coming to a close. Sing Hallelujah! Tyler loves it, and I love it if he loves it, but I am so ready to have my husband back! I can't wait to have the weekends together, and to not spend every night in the gym. Roll on track season (he coaches that too)!
~Spring Break begins in 44 days, but who's counting? Oh wait, I am!!! We were originally planning to head to Vegas, but that may be changing to a different location...I don't really care where we are, or what we do as long as we're together. Cute, I know.
~About a month ago, Tyler called me and said that he had received a call from the Stake Executive Secretary asking if both of us could meet with the Stake President that night. I.WAS.SO.SCARED. I basically sweat bullets for about 3 hours until our appointment. He ended up calling Tyler as ward clerk. Hello Sunday meetings! Tyler is pretty excited about it!
~When Noah was born, I tried every diaper there was because I didn't know which ones we would like. We ended up settling on the Walmart brand, which was great because they were cheaper than anything. Fast forward 9 months, and the Walmart brand began to not cut it. I was SO SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick of the diapers leaking and the laundry that I decided to switch to Huggies. So I started searching for deals and ended up getting 300 for $12.50. I still get a little choked up when I think about it. If you know me well, then you know I like a good deal! Here's how I did it: I got a $20 amazon card for $10 (on groupon), but then it ended up being free because 3 of my friends bought one too, then I went on amazon mom and got 30% off and free shipping and got a box of 156 huggie. The total was $22.00, but only cost me $2 because I had the free $20 amazon card. Then seriously 2 days later, I stumbled upon hayneedle.com and got 70% off a box of 144 huggies with free shipping so they ended up being $10.50. Ammaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing.
~I joined a book club. My friend invited me and I was a little apprehensive because I've never been in one and didn't know what to expect. I AM SO GLAD I DID IT! I am so excited for the books we are going to read. Such a great variety. I'm so glad I have a husband who pushed me to do it as a sort of time out for myself. It's nice to leave Noah with Tyler and have a couple of hours for myself. Now, I need to get reading because I only have 3 weeks til our next meeting. Dun, Dun, Dun......
~Our taxes are filed! YAY! Now, maybe the refund will get here a little early if Uncle Sam is feeling generous. COME ON Uncle Sam!!!!
~Noah is 10 months old....almost 11. The thoughts of my baby turning 1 makes me feel like I'm having a breakdown. He has been walking around the furniture for awhile now, but recently has stood up all by himself....just for a minute, and then he gets scared and plops down. I am in no rush for him to walk, as he is already getting into EVERYTHING possible just with crawling.
~The sleeping program we did for him is still in full effect! It seriously rocks! He sleeps at least 9 hrs a night, sometimes 10-12. It's amazing. My only regret is that I didn't do it earlier! I would recommend it to anyone!!! It saved my sanity, just kidding....but seriously!
~We are sooooo into American Idol! I guess it helps that Tyler's other wife is Steven Tyler. HE LOVES HIM! I won't lie, he kind of annoys me on the show and you better believe Tyler and I have had a few heated discussion about his judging, but it's all good. I can't wait for Idol every week and already have some favorites. Also, what's up with the heart wrenching stories? I have cried at every episode since it started. Seriously.So.Sad.
Well, that's about it for now. I hope everyone is doing good and keeping warm. What's up with the crazy freezing cold weather?!?
